The initial on-site consultation and land inspection are instrumental when beginning a new vineyard or orchard development project. This opportunity is for the grower/client to discuss their vision, while reviewing the following pre-development procedures:

Soil samples - taken at several different locations throughout the field to determine soil profiles which are then sent to the agriculture lab for detailed soil analysis. This analysis will help determine root stock and varietal selections.

Trellis types - based on the soil sampling results, the trellis types, vine & tree spacing, and row direction will then be determined.
